It's bohemian Paris, at the turn of the century and the earth has

touch the heart? Is beauty truly in the eye of the beholder? Did
Einstein and Picasso really only excel in their chosen fields in order

Adapted
from the Voltaire novel into a musical with book by Hugh Wheeler, with

Candide premiered at the Martin Beck Theatre in New York in 1956, and
has enjoyed revivals in 1974 and in 1997 at the Broadway Theatre and

embarking on life's adventures, Candide has enjoyed a cult following
for its colorful score and songs such as "Glitter and be Gay." The show
features choreography by Patricia Birch, set design by Clarke Dunham,
costumes by Judith Dolan, lighting by Ken Billington and sound by Abe
Jacob.
